READING, PA. — AHL Report interviewed Brampton Beast head coach Colin Chaulk, along with captain Brandon Marino, forwards Connor Crisp, Luke Pither and goaltender Zach Fucale following their thrilling comeback win over the Reading Royals in Game 6 of the North Division Semifinal series for the 2017 Kelly Cup.

Coach Chaulk talked about how the Beast, a team built to score goals, relied on Zach Fucale to steal Game 6. Chaulk noted how special it was to be part of the first playoff win in franchise history.

Captain Brandon Marino talked about the importance of coming back to win Game 2 which he considered the turning point in the series. Marino also acknowledged the importance of the wake up call delivered by Zach Fucale between periods.

Connor Crisp spoke about a great group of guys coming together as a team. Crisp said that the team did what it wanted to do in ending the series in game 6.

Zach Fucale stressed the importance of regrouping after the first period so that the team could come together for the win. Not wanting to look too far ahead, Fucale said that the approach is to take one game at a time.

Luke Pither talked about how the group is prepared to play in tight games which they did effectively in the series. Pither said that the clock seemed to be moving slowly as the seconds ticked off at the end of the game while his heart was pumping.
