Welcome to From the Press Box, the latest podcast offering from Rocket Sports Radio!

In this week’s episode, hosts Rick Stephens and Amy Johnson look back at the ups and downs of the last week of games for the Laval Rocket, finishing with a road win in Binghamton. You’ll hear exclusive audio clips from the coach and some players on where the team currently stands, and they’ll preview the week ahead while providing some injury updates.

After a rousing week spent at the World Junior Championship in Buffalo, NY, Rick and Amy will break down the players they scouted and their impressions of the tournament overall. Get a “behind-the-scenes” view of their experience at the USA v CAN outdoor game, as well as the vibe inside KeyBank Center during the tournament.

In AHL news, the pair will talk about the upcoming winter Olympics and discuss the All-Star Classic coming to Utica at the end of the month.  And where will Rick take us today on “Where Are They Now?”

Top 5 is always a “can’t miss” segment, and this week Rick and Amy lay down their top five resolutions for 2018.

Check out a new episode of From the Press Box every Tuesday, where Amy and Rick will talk about the Montreal Canadiens prospects in the AHL, ECHL, NCAA, OHL, and European leagues, as well as taking a closer look at other AHL teams, news, entertainment, and special events around the American Hockey League.
