IceCaps Weekly Forecast gives a first look of the week ahead for your St. John’s IceCaps. ST JOHN’S, NL. — This week, the St. John’s IceCaps remain on the road playing four games against the Binghamton Senators, Rochester Americans and the Toronto Marlies. The IceCaps head to New York to face the Senators on the 15th, before continuing to Rochester on the 18th. They then make their way back to Canada to face the Marlies on the 19th and 20th.

St. John’s IceCaps
  • Last week the IceCaps had two back to back losses against the Springfield Thunderbirds and the Albany Devils. They continue to hold their spot at fifth in the North division, and remain strong on the power-play ranking first in the Eastern conference.
Players to Watch
  • Daniel Audette – 20-year-old Daniel Audette plays his first professional season as a center for the IceCaps.
  • Julien Brouillette – After being signed to a PTO contract last week, Brouillette made his debut with the IceCaps on November 12th.

Tuesday November 15th

Binghamton Senators
The Binghamton Senators (3-7-1-0) face the St. John’s IceCaps on Tuesday November 15th. This is the first time the two teams will meet this season. The Senators rank sixth in the North division, following closely behind the IceCaps at fifth.
Players to Watch
  • Casey Bailey – Bailey leads the team with four goals and one assist in 11 games played.
  • Phil Varone – Varone follows close behind Bailey with two goals and three assists this season.

  • IceCaps will face former Hamilton Bulldogs enforcer Zack Stortini. The 31-year-old veteran wears the ‘C’ for the Seantors.

The Amerks rank fourth in the North Division, just ahead of the IceCaps.
