Last week, the Ice Caps had three consecutive wins against the Utica Comets and the Toronto Marlies, before a 3-2 loss to the Marlies on the sixth. The IceCaps hold their spot at fifth in the North division with six wins, one loss, and one overtime loss in 12 games played.
Players to Watch
Charles Hudon – Hudon ranks fifth in the league with 12 points in 12 games played.
Nikita Scherbak – After a slow start, Scherbak has been on fire playing with Daniel Audette and Charles Hudon. Scherbak had a six game point streak that came to an end on Sunday after recording five goals, three assists for eight points.

The Springfield Thunderbirds (5-4-1-0) face the IceCaps on Friday November 11th. This is their second game against the IceCaps this season, following a win of 5-4 in overtime on October 22nd. The Thunderbirds rank fifth in the Atlantic division, just behind the Bridgeport Sound Tigers.

Chase Balisy – With two goals and five assists this season, Chase Balisy leads the team.
Ian McCoshen – After scoring the only goal against the Binghamton Senators Sunday night, defenseman Ian McCoshen received the second star of the game.

The IceCaps may look to win the special teams battle in Springfield this weekend. The Thunderbirds are in the bottom five in the league in both power-play and penalty-kill efficiency.
The Albany Devils (6-4-0-0) face the St. John’s IceCaps on Saturday November 12th. Their most recent loss against the Hershey Bears rank them third in the North division. This is the second time the Devils and the IceCaps meet this season.
