Canadiens will hold their annual Development Camp from July 3-7 at the Bell Sports Complex in Brossard

MONTREAL – The Montreal Canadiens announced on Thursday that the team will hold its annual development camp, from July 3-7 at the Bell Sports Complex, in Brossard.
A total of 45 players will participate in the development camp, including 25 forwards, 16 defensemen and four goaltenders. All six players selected by the Canadiens at the 2016 NHL Entry Draft held on June 25-26 in Buffalo will be among the participants, including first round selection, defenseman Mikhail Sergachev.
The list of players invited to the development camp includes 23 prospects drafted by the Canadiens organization, four players acquired through free agency and 18 players invited on a try-out basis.
Players will be divided into four groups (A-B-C-D). The first on-ice practice session will be on Sunday, July 3, from 11 a.m. to 12 p.m. on both ice surfaces of the Bell Sports Complex. On-ice practice sessions will take place in the morning for the remainder of the week. Scrimmages will also be held on July 3, 5 and 6, between 4-6 p.m., as well as on Thursday, July 7, between 9-11:30 a.m. All practices are open to the public.
Players participating in the development camp will be available to the media every day around noon (12 p.m.), starting Sunday, July 3.
