MONTREAL, QC — The AHL Report team joined the Laval Rocket’s March 23, 2021 media call after the team’s game-day skate in Calgary.
The Rocket are in Alberta tonight to wrap up their first-ever series with the Stockton Heat. After tonight’s game, the team will head to Winnipeg for a four-game series against the Manitoba Moose.
Prior to tonight’s game, head coach Joel Bouchard discussed Yannick Veilleux‘s second suspension in a week: a four-game suspension for a kneeing incident in Sunday’s game. In that outing, the Rocket defeated the Heat with a third period surge. Bouchard also talked about a unique team-bonding opportunity the team participated in while visiting Calgary.
