LAVAL, QC. — On Wednesday, the Laval Rocket announced that forward Nikita Jevpalovs had been signed to a one-year, one-way AHL contract.
The Latvian centre had a career year with the Rocket last season scoring 13 goals, 12 assists for 25 points in 69 regular season games.
In their media release, the Rocket noted Jevpalovs’ versatility, “with head coach Joel Bouchard using him in all situations.”
The 24-year-old also played junior hockey for Bouchard scoring 95 goals, 98 assists totalling 193 points in 185 regular season games for the Blainville-Boisbriand Armada of the QMJHL.
