The Three Stars of the Week

 

 1. D Nathan Beaulieu

 Beaulieu makes his return to the honour roll by helping to guide the Saint John Sea Dogs to a perfect week while factoring in each goal the team scored. Beaulieu would contribute two assists on Friday night in what became an eventual 3-2 shootout win over Drummondville.  Beaulieu would match his contribution on Saturday night as he once again marked two assists to help Saint John edge a 2-1 victory over the Shawinigan Cataractes. The week also marked the first time in two months that Beaulieu has scored points in consecutive games, while raising him to 10^th overall in QMJHL defensive scoring. Beaulieu was drafted in the 1^st round, 17^th overall by the Montreal Canadiens in the 2011 Entry Draft.

 2. RW Patrick Holland

 Holland makes his first appearance in the Three Stars selection as he marks new career heights with the Tri-City Americans. Holland scored three assists on Friday night, setting up the first three goals for Tri-City over the Seattle Thunderbirds in a 4-1 victory. Holland would also pick up another assist on Saturday night in a 6-3 victory for Tri-City on Saturday. Holland’s 4 points would also raise him to 71 points on the season, his first 70-point season in the WHL and is 8^th overall in WHL scoring. Holland was drafted in the 7^th round, 193^rd overall by the Calgary Flames in the 2010 Entry Draft and was acquired by the Montreal Canadiens as part of the Michael Cammalleri trade.

3. G Peter Delmas

 Delmas has had struggles with consistency this season with the Wheeling Nailers, but managed a pair of strong starts this week. Delmas would make 29 stops to help the Nailers to a 4-1 victory over the Elmira Jackals on Wednesday night, which also marked his 10^th win of the season. Delmas recorded an identical performance with another 29-save victory in a 2-1 victory over the Trenton Titans and improved his season record to 11-6 overall. Delmas was signed as a free agent in July, 2011 by the Montreal Canadiens.
