The Three Stars of the Week

1. RW Patrick Holland

Patrick Holland is having the best stretch of his career of late and with his latest efforts for the Tri-City Americans. Holland would score his first goal in 12 games and would add three assists as well in a 7-2 over Everett on Tuesday. Holland would mark another four points on Friday night, Holland would assist on four unanswered Tri-City goals in a comeback from a 2-0 deficit for a final 4-2 victory in a second straight game against the Everett Silvertips. Holland would  three four points on Saturday, scoring two goals and an assist assists to lead a 7-3 win over Spokane. Continuing his astonishing pace, Holland would once more, score four points, all assists in a 5-1 victory over the Seattle Thunderbirds. Holland has now scored 3 goals and 22 assists in his last ten games and is the assist leader of the WHL with 73 total. Holland’s 23 goals this season is also a new career best and he is currently 6th overall in WHL scoring. Holland was drafted in the 7th round, 193rd overall in the 2010 Entry Draft by the Calgary Flames and was acquired by the Montreal Canadiens as part of the Michael Cammalleri trade.
