BRAMPTON, ONTARIO – The Brampton Beast, ECHL affiliate of the St. John’s IceCaps and Montreal Canadiens, announce today that the club has signed Princeton grad Kyle Rankin to a Standard Player Contract.

Rankin, a Kanata, Ontario native, played four full seasons for Princeton University between the 2012-13 and 2015-16 seasons and was a speedy, reliable forward who suited up for 117 NCAA games and recorded 10 goals and 21 assists along with 44 penalty minutes.

Prior to starting his NCAA career, he had a great season with the Sioux Falls Stampede in the USHL, putting up 16 goals and 18 assists for 34 points during the 2011-12 season.
