HAMILTON, ONT – The Hamilton Bulldogs will take on the Toronto Marlies (AHL Affiliate of the Toronto Maple Leafs) tonight at FirstOntario Centre for the team’s home opener. The Bulldogs kicked off the regular season on Saturday in Rochester against the Americans, defeating them in a high scoring bout, 6-4.
I attended the Bulldogs morning skate, and gathered some notes.

– Goaltender MacDonald is expected to start in goal tonight. The 34-year-old, Pictou, Nova Scotia native, made his Bulldogs debut last Saturday in Rochester against the Americans where he recorded his first win. He will make his debut at FirstOntario Centre tonight.
Puck drop is 7:30 p.m. and can be seen on Cable 14 in Hamilton.
