READING, PA. — AHL Report interviewed Brampton Beast head coach Colin Chaulk, as well as defenseman Reggie Traccitto and goaltender Andrew D’Agostini following their loss to the Reading Royals in Game 1 of the North Division Semifinal series of the 2017 Kelly Cup Playoffs.
Coach Chaulk discussed what he thought his team did well in the game and where he felt improvements could be made. Our team also asked Chaulk if he would start Zach Fucale in net for Game 2 now that Fucale has been returned from the AHL.
Traccitto and D’Agostini also talked about their feelings and perspective on the game, as well as their takeaways from what Reading presented during the 60 minutes of play. Traccitto acknowledged the short stint he had in the AHL earlier this season while with the St. John’s IceCaps and happily recounted the positive experience he had there. D’Agositini proudly talked about the importance of being a part of the Montreal Canadiens organization and being a member of the first Brampton team to make the postseason in franchise history.
