Welcome to From the Press Box, the latest podcast offering from Rocket Sports Radio!
In this week’s episode, hosts Rick Stephens and Amy Johnson share some stories about their tour of Place Bell, the new home of the Laval Rocket. They also discuss a very special visitor who was in town for the team’s series against Utica, and recap all the action from the weekend with player and coach audio.
The pair will also give a shoutout to the Player of the Week in AHL news, as well review the league’s weekly suspension list before leaving listeners on the edge of their seat to reveal this week’s Where Are They Now?
Top 5 is always a “can’t miss” segment, and with food being a common theme around here, they’re breaking down their top picks for hockey-watching snacks!
Check out a new episode of From the Press Box every Tuesday, where Amy and Rick will talk about the Montreal Canadiens prospects in the AHL, ECHL, NCAA, OHL, and European leagues, as well as taking a closer look at other AHL teams, news, entertainment, and special events around the American Hockey League.

for your notes on our laval team,
don’t know how you do it?
i try and listen to all the games on radio feed, when i can,
i look forward to following your notes before/after each contest.
ps,why do we not have a full schedule of radio in english for the rocket?
i am okay with the 91.9fm francophone feed,
but maybe others would like the option of either language as well?
merci,thank you

Thank you for your kind comments! I’m so glad to hear that passionate hockey fans like yourself find value in the extensive work we do to cover the Laval Rocket. We do tip our hats to the French broadcasts of the game, however we can also understand the frustration for English-speaking fans who would also like to listen to the play-by-play. Our efforts to continue to bring a tremendous amount of English-based coverage to fans of the Montreal Canadiens’ AHL affiliate are certainly bolstered by positive feedback like yours!
We appreciate your readership and support, thank you again!
