MONTREAL, QC. — For now, mystery surrounds the hockey career of Habs prospect Colin Sullivan. According to the Boston College Hockey blog, Sullivan was not a practice on Tuesday morning. Sullivan is a sophomore from Milford, Connecticut who is still eligible to to play junior hockey this season.
It is being reported by multiple sources that he has left the Boston College hockey program. Sullivan is no longer listed on the 2013-14 roster of the Boston College website. The 20-year old defenseman was well down the depth chart and leaving the program may simply be an effort to find a situation where he can secure more ice time.
Sullivan was a seventh-round pick (198th overall) in the 2011 NHL Entry Draft. He attended the Canadiens Development Camp in July.
