ST. JOHN’S, NL (Nov. 14, 2015) – Montreal Canadiens and St. John’s IceCaps General Manager Marc Bergevin announced today the IceCaps have recalled centre Angelo Miceli from the Brampton Beast of the ECHL.
The IceCaps signed Miceli to a one-year, two-way American Hockey League contract for the 2015-16 season in September. The 21-year-old collected three goals and three assists in eight games with the Beast. He scored a goal in three contests with the IceCaps earlier this season.
The five-foot-10, 180-pound pivot spent the previous four seasons with the Victoriaville Tigres of the Quebec Major Junior Hockey League (QMJHL), capped by a 96-point season that placed him first among Tigres and fifth in league scoring in 2014-15.
