Game Recap:Just 4:02 into the game, IceCaps forward J.C. Lipon took a stretch pass that sent him in on a breakaway and he fired a wrister past Bulldogs starter Mike Condon for a goal that turned out to be the game-winner. The rest of the way was a goalie duel between Condon and St John’s netminder Connor Hellebuyck. Shane Bakker, a waiver pickup by the Wheeling Nailers last season, did his best to make an impression tangling with IceCaps tough guy Austen Brassard.
