Eight More Reinforcements Headed to IceCaps Camp

ST. JOHN’S, NL – Montreal Canadiens general manager Marc Bergevin announced today that eight players have been reassigned from the Canadiens training camp to the St. John’s IceCaps.
The following players have been assigned to St. John’s:

(w) – requires NHL waivers before being assigned to IceCaps.
Twenty-one players were assigned to St. John’s by Montreal yesterday.
The St. John’s IceCaps, affiliate of the Montreal Canadiens, open training camp today at the Corner Brook Civic Centre. As part of camp, the IceCaps will face off against the Toronto Marlies in a three-game series for the Colemans Cup. The IceCaps beat the Marlies in the inaugural Colemans Cup last pre-season.
The exhibition series kicks off Thursday, October 6 at the Stephenville Dome (7:30 p.m.) and moves on to the Corner Brook Civic Centre on Friday, Oct. 7 (7:30 p.m.), before wrapping up in Gander at the Community Centre on Sunday, Oct. 9 (2:00 p.m.).
