Terry Extends Contract with Canadiens

ST. JOHN’S, NL — The Montreal Canadiens announced earlier today they have agreed to terms on a one-year contract extension with St. John’s IceCaps forward Chris Terry.
The Brampton, ON native has racked up 21 goals and 29 assists in 38 games with the IceCaps, and is the team’s leading scorer and second in the American Hockey League.
The 27-year-old forward also has two goals and two assists in 14 games with the Canadiens this season.
On Wednesday, Terry was named the AHL’s Player of the Month for February, after recording nine goals and nine assists for a league-high 18 points along with a plus-9 rating.
