Alex Galchenyuk had a goal and two assists to lead his United States squad to an 8-0 win over Germany on Thursday at the 2013 World Junior Hockey Championships. It was the first game of the tournament for the Americans — they will face Russia on Friday morning. Galchenyuk has 27 goals and 34 assists in 33 games for the Sarnia Sting — his 61 points are second only to Ryan Strome in the OHL this season.
