St. John’s IceCaps
The St. John’s IceCaps are neck and neck with the Utica Comets in attempts to clinch a spot in the playoffs. The ‘Caps back-to-back wins against the Senators on the 8th and Comets on the 9th keep their playoff hopes alive, but defeating the Marlies in both games this week would clinch a spot.
Players to Watch
Chris Terry – Terry has been a force to be reckoned with all season, leading the team with 65 points in 56 games played.
Charles Hudon – Hudon has also been strong presence on the team this season with 46 points in 54 games played.
The Toronto Marlies (41-28-4-1) remain at the top of the North division with 87 points. Following the Marlies win against the IceCaps of 5-2 last week, the ‘Caps will be looking for redemption in hopes to secure a playoff spot. With the ‘Caps coming full force this week and having the home team advantage, the Marlies will have to put up a good fight to defeat their rivals.

Kerby Rychel – Rychel leads the team with 50 points in 70 games played. He is also second on the team for penalty minutes with a total of 118 minutes.
Andreas Johnson – Johnson has played 72 games with the Marlies earning a total of 45 points.
