MONTREAL, QC — The AHL Report team joined the Laval Rocket’s April 6, 2021 media call after the team’s game-day skate.
The Rocket face the Stockton Heat tonight at the Bell Centre for the last time in this three-game home stand, and the last time this season. On Sunday, Laval continued their victory streak over Stockton.
Today, Rocket defenseman Cameron Hillis discussed his season and the patience required to fit into a large, rotating lineup and also provided some teammate insight on Cole Caufield‘s first skate with the team.
Head coach Joel Bouchard provided an update on his roster for tonight, with Otto Leskinen and Cayden Primeau recalled to the NHL taxi squad, and also commented on Caufield’s first on-ice appearance and the signing of Jan Mysak to his entry-level contract with the Montreal Canadiens.
