St. John’s IceCaps Media Release

ST. JOHN’S, NL – Montreal Canadiens and St. John’s IceCaps General Manager Marc Bergevin announced today the IceCaps have re-signed defenceman Josiah Didier to a one-year American Hockey League (AHL) contract.

The 24-year-old Littleton, CO native collected five assists and 58 penalty minutes in 53 games with the IceCaps last season and registered a goal and four penalty minutes in four games with the ECHL’s Brampton Beast.

The six-foot-three, 218-pound rearguard was signed to a one-year AHL contract last summer after completing a professional try out contract (PTO) with the Canadiens’ AHL affiliate in Hamilton.
